Important: The following are the rules and other provisions (collectively, “Rules”) pertaining to myAMAE membership and Premium Pass sales and your use of AMAE Lounge locations. By purchasing a myAMAE membership or Premium Pass or using the Lounges, you indicate your acceptance of these Rules and agree to abide by them. myAMAE memberships and use of Lounges will be governed by these Rules, and it is your responsibility to read and understand all of them. These Rules cannot be superseded or changed, except in writing from AMAE S.A. y/o AMAE Holdings S.A or any of its affiliates (collectively, «AMAE»). The most current Rules may be found on amaelounge.com and this is the final authority on the Rules. The Rules on amaelounge.com shall be deemed to supersede any prior or conflicting versions thereof.
General conditions
- AMAE has the right to change the Rules, benefits (including Lounge hours, locations, amenities and services), access policies and conditions of membership and use, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice.
- The Rules control your myAMAE membership and use of Lounges and no covenants at law or in equity shall be implied or incorporated, all of which are expressly disclaimed. AMAE has the sole right to interpret and apply the Rules. IN NO EVENT SHALL AMAE BE LIABLE TO A MEMBER, OR ANYONE ACTING ON MEMBER’S BEHALF, FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST REVENUE OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF THE ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF AMAE IN CONNECTION WITH myAMAE MEMBERSHIP OR USE OF LOUNGES, OR COSTS OR ATTORNEYS’ FEES. Any abuse of myAMAE membership or Lounge use or failure to follow the Rules, any violation of law, rule or regulation, any conduct detrimental to the interests of AMAE, any fraudulent activity or attempted fraudulent activity, or any misrepresentation of any information furnished to AMAE or its affiliates by any Participant, anyone else acting on the Participant’s behalf, or any third party, may result in AMAE exercising any one or more of the following remedies (“AMAE’s Remedies”), with or without notice to the Participant: (a) termination or suspension of myAMAE membership and Lounge access without compensation and (b) Legal action to recovery financial losses incurred by AMAE.
- Neither AMAE’s waiver or consent to a deviation from the Rules nor any course of dealing shall be construed as a waiver by AMAE of any subsequent violation of the Rules and AMAE may invoke AMAE’s Remedies for a violation of the Rules despite any such prior waiver or consent.
- Members will not be compensated for changes in membership benefits, amenities, Lounge locations or changes to these Rules unless explicitly covered under AMAE’s Service Guarantee for myAMAE Members and/or Premium Pass Purchasers.
- AMAE and its subsidiaries, affiliates and agents are not responsible for any products, services or activities of any partner and are not responsible for products or services separately offered by third parties and made available at any Lounge.
Privacy Policy
By purchasing a myAMAE membership or Premium Pass or using a Lounge, you authorize AMAE to collect, maintain, use, process and share your information, including, without limitations, names, email addresses, physical addresses, account and other information in accordance with AMAE’s Privacy Policy. You can learn more about how AMAE collects, maintains, uses, processes and shares your information in AMAE’s Privacy Policy which may be viewed here. AMAE’s Privacy Policy is merely a statement of administrative protocol; it is not a contract, nor does it create any contractual or legal rights. AMAE’s Privacy Policy is not made, or intended to be made, a part of these Rules.
myAMAE Membership
- A one-year or six-month myAMAE membership can be purchased on amaelounge.com, using a valid credit or debit card or other payment method available on the MercadoPago platform. If a membership has been expired for more than 30 days, it is considered a new enrollment, except that the Member previously requests the cancellation.
- Memberships are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
- Memberships are open to all natural persons aged 18 or older.
- Membership will expire on the date indicated when purchasing the membership.
- You can renew a myAMAE membership beginning 60 days prior to its expiration at the price effective on the date of renewal. Prices are subject to change.
- Memberships may not be sold by anyone other than AMAE. Any memberships sold by a party other than AMAE are void, and AMAE reserves the right to take any or all of the following actions in connection with a third-party sale of a membership: (a) invalidate the membership; (b) assess the member for the actual value of the services obtained through use of the membership; and (d) take legal action against the member or third-party seller of the membership.
Premium Pass Purchase
- Any person may purchase a Premium Pass to enter an AMAE Lounge immediately prior to the departure of their flight or, depending on the Lounge location, immediately after the arrival of their fight, and it can be purchased on amaelounge.com, using a valid credit or debit card or other payment method available on the MercadoPago platform or directly from AMAE staff inside an AMAE Lounge using a valid credit or debit card only.
- Premium Pass are nonrefundable and may be purchased on behalf of another person, however they are nontransferable. The Premium Pass holder is the person named in conjunction with the booking reference number generated by AMAE at the time of purchase. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure their details are correct at the time of purchase.
- Premium Passes must be purchased by a person who is over the age of 18 and all Premium Pass holders who are under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian or parent who is travelling with them at all times while inside the lounge.
- A Premium Pass has a maximum validity of one year from the date of purchase or until the Premium Pass holder has been admitted to the lounge, whichever occurs first.
- Premium Pass holders may make unlimited date changes to their booking prior to being admitted to the lounge however always within the maximum validity period.
- Premium Passes may not be sold by anyone other than AMAE. Any memberships sold by a party other than AMAE are void, and AMAE reserves the right to take any or all of the following actions in connection with a third-party sale of a Premium Pass: (a) invalidate the Premium Pass; (b) assess the member for the actual value of the services obtained through use of the Premium Pass; and (d) take legal action against the member or third-party seller of the membership.
Admittance for myAMAE Members and Premium Pass Holders
- A valid myAMAE digital membership card or valid Premium Pass booking reference number, a same-day boarding pass and a government-issued photo ID (such as a DNI or passport), are required for admittance to AMAE Lounge locations. Any permitted guest of a myAMAE member must also present a same-day boarding pass and a government-issued photo ID (such as a DNI or passport)
- Depending on the location of the Lounge, admittance to AMAE Lounge locations is only possible for travelers who have cleared airport security and/ or immigration and other airport checkpoints. AMAE Lounge takes no responsibility for travelers not being able to access the lounge due to these checkpoints not being open or not allowing the traveler to pass.
- myAMAE Digital Membership cards are nontransferable and may not be copied for or loaned to others. AMAE representatives will inform the Member in such an event and AMAE may decide to take further action for improper use in accordance with AMAE’s remedies.
- myAMAE members and Premium Pass holders may bring dependent children under the age of 2, into any AMAE Lounge location at no charge.
- myAMAE members may bring one adult and/ or up to two dependent children under the age of 18, into any AMAE Lounge location at no charge. Members must accompany their family and guests at all times during their AMAE Lounge visit. Members are responsible for ensuring guests and family members comply with these Rules.
- myAMAE members or Premium Pass holders who bring more guests than allowed will be charged for any additional guests.
- myAMAE members are entitled to a discount of 50% off Premium Passes for additional adult or child guests if purchased on the day of visitation at the lounge.
- A Premium Pass admits one person, with no guests, to a AMAE Lounge location.
- Individuals must be 18 or older to enter any AMAE Lounge, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian adult 18 or older who must supervise the minor at all times while inside the lounge and may not under any circumstances provide alcohol to the minor as applicable by law.
- Access to Lounges may be denied for myAMAE Members and Premium Pass holders during busy times when Lounges are at or near capacity unless the myAMAE Member or Premium Pass holder has a made an advance reservation for the date and hour when this situation arises via amaelounge.com or the exclusive communication channel for myAMAE members only. You may be asked for the booking confirmation number and it is your responsibility to have this with you.
- Premium passes will not be honored or accepted after their maximum validity period has expired.
- Admittance to a Lounge is always during that lounge’s applicable opening hours. No minimum or maximum stays are guaranteed; however, no stay may exceed 12 hours.
- AMAE reserves the right to refuse admittance to anyone who interferes with the atmosphere of the AMAE Lounge or to anyone who displays aggressive, threatening or abusive behavior towards staff or other travelers or to anyone who appears to be under the influence of drugs and/ or alcohol.
Admittance for other eligible Lounge Users
- An eligible Lounge User is a traveler who possesses a valid credential issued by a Program and meets the eligibility criteria of a Program that holds a valid contract with AMAE that includes access to a specific Lounge along with other terms and conditions that determine entitlements. These contracts and their validity may change without notice. These contracts are confidential to AMAE and the Program. A Program may include a third-party lounge access membership, financial institution, airline, agency or other company.
- A valid credential according to and as determined by the Program, and a same-day boarding pass and a government-issued photo ID (such as a DNI or passport), are required for admittance to AMAE Lounge locations. Any entitled guests must also present a same-day boarding pass and a government-issued photo ID (such as a DNI or passport)
- Depending on the location of the Lounge, admittance to AMAE Lounge locations is only possible for travelers who have cleared airport security and/ or immigration and other airport checkpoints. AMAE Lounge takes no responsibility for travelers not being able to access the lounge due to these checkpoints not being open or not allowing the traveler to pass.
- Credentials are nontransferable and may not be copied for or loaned to others or improperly used. AMAE may decide to take further action for improper use in accordance with AMAE’s remedies as well as notifying the Program.
- In addition to presenting the correct credentials, eligible Lounge Users are subject to the specific lounge access policies determined by their Program.
- Eligible Lounge Users may bring dependent children under the age of 2, into any AMAE Lounge location at no charge.
- Eligible Lounge Users who bring more guests than allowed by their program will be charged by AMAE for any additional guests if not able to be charged by their program.
- Individuals must be 18 or older to enter any AMAE Lounge, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian adult 18 or older who must supervise the minor at all times while inside the lounge and may not under any circumstances provide alcohol to the minor as applicable by law.
- Access to Lounges may be denied for any eligible Lounge User during busy times when Lounges are at or near capacity unless otherwise agreed by AMAE with the Program.
- Eligible Lounge Users with advanced bookings made on amaelounge.com are not guaranteed access unless otherwise agreed by AMAE with the Program. Despite this AMAE will make best efforts to accommodate the Eligible Lounge User subject to available space.
- Admittance to a Lounge is always during that lounge’s applicable opening hours. No minimum or maximum stays are guaranteed; however, maximum stays may be determined by a Program or its agreement with AMAE and enforced by AMAE.
- Any complaint or query regarding lounge access or entitlements from the Lounge User must be directed to their Program.
- AMAE reserves the right to refuse admittance to anyone who interferes with the atmosphere of the AMAE Lounge or to anyone who displays aggressive, threatening or abusive behavior towards staff or other travelers or to anyone who appears to be under the influence of drugs and/ or alcohol.
Atmosphere and attire
- During your visit to a Lounge, we ask that your attire and conduct be consistent with the environment.
- As a courtesy to other guests, please wear headphones or earbuds when using personal devices such as smartphones, tablets and other electronics, and refrain from using the speaker feature on any device.
- Solicitation is prohibited in all Lounges.
- Use of tobacco products, including electronic products, cigarettes, pipes, chewing tobacco or cigars is not permitted inside Lounges.
- In addition to AMAE’s Remedies, could remove any person from the lounge for any conduct AMAE deems inappropriate and terminate myAMAE membership.
- AMAE reserves the right to refuse to serve alcoholic beverages to any person who appears to be intoxicated or is otherwise unruly.
- Food and alcoholic beverages may not be brought into Lounge locations. Food and beverage is provided for consumption and use in the Lounge and may not be removed from the Lounge. AMAE reserves the right to terminate myAMAE memberships if members do not respect this rule.
- Alcoholic beverages will not be served to anyone under 18 years old or whatever age or condition that is applicable in accordance with local law.
- Airport luggage carts are not permitted inside Lounges.
- Laying on the floor, walking barefoot or placing feet on the furniture is prohibited in all Lounges.
- Children must be supervised by their accompanying parent or legal guardian at all times and must behave respectfully towards other guests. AMAE Lounge assumes no liability for unsupervised children inside the lounge and their accompanying parent or legal guardian is responsible for any damages caused by the child to any party inside the lounge.
- AMAE will not be held responsible for personal articles lost or stolen in any Lounge.
- AMAE has a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive or threatening behavior, vandalism, theft or violence in any form against other guests, staff or property. Such behavior will result in a complaint being made with the applicable police and/ or airport security force and may result in termination of membership and/ or refusal that individual again in future.
Pet and service animal policy
- Service animals and in-cabin pets are welcome in certain AMAE Lounge locations, provided local ordinances permit them.
- AMAE Lounge assumes no liability for service animals and in-cabin pets inside the lounge and the owner is responsible for any damages caused by the pet to any party inside the lounge.
- In-cabin pets must remain inside their carriers with the door secured at all times.
- Animals must be trained to behave properly in public settings and follow the direction of their owners.
- Animals must be clean and properly groomed.
- Animals are not allowed to occupy seats in the Lounge.
- Animals are not allowed to eat or drink from AMAE Lounge service ware.
- Animals may not engage in disruptive behavior such as roaming freely, barking, growling or biting.
- All animals must remain on the floor when they are near food or beverage display areas.
- Any waste from the animal must be properly disposed of in a hygienic manner by the owner.
Miscellaneous
- AMAE considers myAMAE membership and/ or purchase of a Premium Pass and/or use of any Lounge an acceptance of these Rules.
- AMAE reserves the right to modify pricing, benefits, services, hours, lounge locations at any time with or without written notice to its members and customers.
- AMAE Lounge is not responsible if a myAMAE Member or Premium Pass holder’s plans change and they are unable to travel and make use of their membership and/ or pass as desired.
- AMAE will not be liable for interruptions, delays or failures in performance caused by acts of God, war, strike, labor dispute, work stoppage, fire, government or any other cause, whether similar or dissimilar, beyond our control.
- AMAE reserves the right to terminate membership or remove any customer from a Lounge for any abuse of privileges (including inappropriate conduct), failure to follow these terms and conditions. AMAE reserves the right to amend or modify these Rules at any time with or without written notice to its members and customers.
Minimum Service Guarantee for myAMAE Members and Premium Pass Purchasers
- AMAE guarantees a Minimum Service to its myAMAE Members and Premium Pass holders. This consists of the access to any AMAE Lounge during its regular operating hours in accordance with the Rules, the availability of complimentary Wi-Fi Internet Access, complimentary snacks, complimentary beverages and seating.
- The Minimum Service Guarantee applies providing the non-delivery of applicable services specified in the paragraph above (“Service Failure”), are not caused by disruptions beyond the reasonable control of AMAE and, the myAMAE Member or Premium Pass holder has a made an advance reservation for the date and hour when this situation arises via amaelounge.com or the exclusive communication channel for myAMAE members only and, the booking confirmation number can be provided by the Member or Premium Pass holder.
- Should the Minimum Service Guarantee be applicable in case of Service Failure(s) during any scheduled visit to the Lounge, the myAMAE Member has the right to request an additional one month extension to their membership. AMAE shall have up to 90 days to investigate the claim and apply the extension should the investigation support the claim.
- Should the Minimum Service Guarantee be applicable in case of Service Failure(s) during any scheduled visit to the Lounge, the Premium Pass holder has the right to request a full refund for the amount paid for the Premium Pass at the time of purchase. AMAE shall have up to 90 days to investigate the claim and process the refund should the investigation support the claim.
